Industrial Hygiene (Noise) |
|
 |
MecCilect Engineering will conduct a workplace noise survey so you'll know whether or not noise levels are high enough that OSHA requires your workers be provided with a hearing conservation program. MecCilect Engineering can determine your employees' time-weighted noise exposure for an 8, 10, or 12-hour work shift with noise dosimeters. We also conduct noise measurements and octave-band analysis in response to noise complaints and determine compliance with municipal noise ordinances. This information provides the basis for selecting adequate hearing protection for your workers, determining if your employees need annual audiograms, and for identifying who must receive OSHA-mandated training regarding occupational noise. Of course, we can also help set up your hearing conservation program and conduct OSHA-required annual employee training on this topic. |
